Ways YOU can get involved and
promote Don't Kill in Our Names

Compiled by Maria Hines of Kentucky Coalition to Abolish the Death Penalty (KCADP)

  1. Invite Rachel King to come to your state for a book signing.
  2. If this isn’t possible, purchase your own copy of the book.
  3. Donate a book to a library or other place where there will be wide circulation of the book.
  4. Request that your local library order the book. (I made such a request, that the book be purchased for my library branch, only to find out later that the library had ordered five books, for the main library and four of the branches.)
  5. Publish an article about the book. (We had an article in the KCADP newsletter prior to the signing, and will have another in the next newsletter, reporting on the Kentucky signings.)
  6. Have someone do a review of the book for the local newspaper.
